 About Stepping Stones:

Our School:

Stepping Stones Children's Center is a unique Reggio Emilia-inspired, play-based preschool in the heart of Burlington’s South End. We work with children to explore science, literacy, and mathematical skills and create a strong social-emotional toolbox. Our team of dedicated early childhood professionals provides full-time care and education in an environment that encourages exploration and problem-solving through play and authentic learning experiences.

Schedule:
Full-day, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm

Stepping Stones is open nearly year-round, not following the local schools district schedule. Check our calendar for full details about when we are closed.

Meals:
Children are welcome to bring food from home, but home-cooked meals and snacks play a big part in our day and are included in the tuition cost. We cook, serve, and share two healthy snacks daily along with a hot meal at midday. We are a nut-free environment and do our best to accommodate special dietary needs.

Center Environment:
Stepping Stones Children's Center does not discriminate against race, color, religion, national/ethnic origin or gender.  The Center enrolls children from diverse backgrounds as well as those who are at different developmental stages in their life and all policies, programs and scholarships are administered without discrimination.  We comply with all State and Federal Civil Rights Laws.
